Advanced Urgent Care & Occupational Medicine saw a need to step in after several Metro Urgent Care locations abruptly closed down August 1, 2019. The closures left a void in these communities for affordable, after-hours care. Advanced Urgent Care & Occupational Medicine’s owner, Dr. Tony Euser, is committed to providing accessible healthcare to communities along the front range.
“We have found that 30-40% of families no longer have the traditional primary care physician relationship,” Dr. Euser said. “Urgent care clinics now help fill this gap. We hope to enter into these communities that were left so abruptly in August and re-establish a medical presence.”
In 2012, Advanced Urgent Care & Occupational Medicine opened its first walk-in urgent care clinic. Dr. Euser realized the patients at his primary care practice didn’t have anywhere to get affordable treatment after hours in the Brighton area. Following its success, Dr. Euser opened second and third locations in Northglenn and Fort Lupton. The four new locations brings Advanced Urgent Care & Occupational Medicine’s location count up to seven!
Urgent cares serve as a bridge between primary care providers and patients receiving the same care after hours, typically weeknights and weekends. These clinics are a more affordable option than the emergency room. Advanced Urgent Care & Occupational Medicine is open every day from 8am to 8pm. The clinics also offer occupational medicine and worker’s compensation services for employers.
