At Advanced Urgent Care & Occupational Medicine, we believe in treating everyone like they are family. We genuinely care about the well-being of our patients and are committed to their health and comfort.
Dr. Tony Euser, Advanced Urgent Care & Occupational Medicine’s owner, started medical school at age 40. A Colorado native, his decision was motivated by wanting to make patient-centered healthcare accessible to all members of the Brighton community.
After earning his degree at the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, MO, Dr. Euser – Dr. E – was eager to make a difference in the Brighton community. He founded Platte River Medical Clinic, our family practice, in January 2006 with just three employees, including himself.
The demand for after-hours care led Dr. E to establish Advanced Urgent Care & Occupational Medicine in 2012. It began in Brighton as a single walk-in clinic and has expanded to include clinics around the Denver metro area.
Urgent Care fills an important gap in the medical field by providing an affordable alternative to the emergency room for minor injuries and illnesses. We are proud to offer this option to our communities.

We love to take part in community events across Colorado’s Denver metro area with our mascot, Howie the Healthy Hound! If you see us at an event, please stop by and give Howie a high-five! We have fun giveaways and chances for you to win prizes. Along with meeting all of you, we also provide first aid at sporting events like 5k races.
In 2015, Dr. Euser won the Community Service Award from the Urgent Care Association of America (UCAOA). The award is presented to an individual or organization that makes a positive impact on the health of their local community. Dr. Euser volunteers every Wednesday at the Tennyson Center for Children, a treatment center and K-12 school for emotionally and crisis-affected children and youth.
“Dr. Euser enthusiastically cares about those in need. He uses his skills and passion for healing to make his community a better, healthier place, and represents our industry wonderfully. We’re very pleased to award Dr. Euser with the first annual Community Service Award.” — P. Joanne Ray, CEO of UCAOA
All of our urgent care clinics are also accredited through the American Academy of Urgent Care Medicine. Urgent care center accreditation ensures the provision of quality healthcare and the principles of professionalism. The goals of accreditation are to elevate the standards of urgent care, provide positive and increased recognition of urgent care and to serve the public by encouraging quality patient care in the practice of urgent care medicine.
Advanced Urgent Care & Occupational Medicine partners with local schools to give back $10 for each sports physical. This fundraiser helps athletic teams collect $10 for every sports physical we receive.
