Advanced Urgent Care & Occupational Medicine’s medical providers are dedicated to providing our communities with compassionate healthcare. Our urgent care medical providers have backgrounds ranging from urgent care and family practice to cardiology, internal medicine, and orthopedics. Our worker’s compensation medical providers not only have experience in urgent care, but also with working with employers to get their employees back to health after a work-related injury.
Tony Euser, D.O.
Dr. Euser is a Colorado native and has spent most of his life near Brighton. Eager to make a difference in Brighton’s community, he opened Platte River Medical Clinic in January 2006. He graduated from the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, MO. Dr. Euser specializes in family practice, occupational medicine (Level II provider), and is FAA certified.
In his free time, Dr. Euser enjoys flying his plane, cycling, and skiing.
Julie Parsons, M.D.
Occupational Medicine Medical Director
Dr. Parsons has practiced occupational medicine for 22 years and holds Level II Accreditation with the Department of Workers Compensation. She spent the first 10 years of her career as an ER doctor at a Level I trauma center. Dr. Parsons completed her residency at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. She enjoys taking care of her patients and loves a good diagnostic puzzle.
In her free time, she practices Tai Chi, lifts weights, and spends time with her family which includes a 10-year-old Schnoodle (Schnauzer / Poodle) named Jack.
Katie Krueger, PA-C
Katie Krueger began her career in medicine as a medical assistant and limited scope x-ray tech. She worked in the field of orthopedics while completing her undergraduate studies to prepare for PA school. After graduating with a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of North Texas Science Center in 2010, she worked in family medicine for six years. Katie joined Advanced Urgent Care in 2016 and holds a Level I Accreditation with the Department of Workers Compensation. She enjoys providing acute care to patients in the urgent care setting and has a special interest in orthopedics.
She is certified by the National Commission on Certification for Physician Assistants.
Katie and her husband have two daughters and she feels that some of her best training has come from raising her children! Their family spends as much time as possible enjoying the great outdoors of Colorado in their Jeep. They are avid Denver Broncos fans!
Karina Allen De Oliveira, PA-C
Karina Allen began her career in internal medicine, which she still continues part-time. She treats chronic medical conditions such as diabetes and hypertension. She also worked as a hospitalist for medical and ICU patients with complex wounds, fractures, and brain/spinal cord injuries. Now in the urgent care setting, Karina enjoys having the ability to immediately impact a patient, as well as see a wide variety of illnesses and injuries. Karina holds a Level I Accreditation with the Department of Workers Compensation. She likes the challenge of not knowing who might walk in the door with what problem on any given day.
Karina attended PA school at Des Moines University in Iowa and traveled across the country to various facilities for 4-week long rotations. The highlight of her schooling was a rotation in neuro-oncology at one of the nation’s top cancer centers – MD Anderson in Houston, TX.
Prior to becoming a PA, Karina was a personal trainer and she remains passionate about fitness and exercise. One of her favorite forms of physical activity is doing the Manitou Incline hiking trail. Karina has two dogs and a horse named Dixie.
Alice Nguyen, PA-C
Alice Nguyen is a Delaware native who moved to Colorado in 2017 and is now living in Denver. She received her Physician Assistant degree from Pennsylvania College of Technology in 2015. Before joining the Advanced Urgent Care team in 2018, she had over two years of experience in urgent care and family practice. From suturing a laceration to managing chest pains, she truly enjoys the different challenges that urgent care presents and how to solve them.
Brittney Blanchard, PA-C
Occupational Medicine – Physician Assistant
Brittney Blanchard worked as a caregiver for the elderly and children with Down Syndrome for roughly 7 years prior to becoming a PA. Providing care for those in need is her passion and it brings her joy to do so!
She was born and raised in Southern California near the beach cities and moved to Denver for her Bachelor’s degree in Biology at CU Denver. She fell in love with the state! She became a die-hard Broncos fan overnight!
Brittney received her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from a top-20 nationally recognized program at the University of Southern California where she graduated from in 2016.
After spending a year working as a PA at Keck Medical Center of USC in Otolaryngology and facial plastic surgery assisting in facial reconstruction and chronic ENT disease, she returned back to Colorado where she always belonged! Brittney has spent the entirety of her career working in occupational medicine and urgent care because she enjoys the acuity of care in this setting. She also enjoys working with employers in getting their employees healthy again!
In her free time, you can find her with friends and family, at a Denver Broncos game, exploring the Denver culinary scene, and spending time outdoors with her new puppy Rouge!
Sarah Kleinschmidt, PA-C
Sarah Kleinschmidt earned her physician assistant studies degree from Wichita State University. Her Bachelor of Science in nutritional science was earned at Kansas State University.
Morgan Ash, PA-C
Morgan Ash received her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Arcadia University in 2015. Her bachelor’s degree is in exercise science.
Audra Dust, PA-C
Audra Dust received her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Indiana State University in 2015. Her bachelor’s degree is in biology. She has experience in urgent care and the emergency department.
Alison Lenz, PA-C
Alison Lenz graduated from Colorado’s Red Rocks Physician Assistant program. She earned her bachelor’s degrees in integrative physiology and psychology from the University of Iowa. Prior to P.A. school, Alison worked at the Mental Health Center of Denver for 5 years as a medical emergency scribe.
Alison enjoys being outside as much as possible. She loves hiking in the warmer months and she tries to snowboard as often as possible in the winter. She moved to Colorado in 2011 and is an Iowa native. She loves all the adventure that Colorado has to offer!
Callan Marcus, NP-C
Callan Marcus earned her family nurse practitioner degree from the University of Kansas Medical Center. Prior to working at Advanced Urgent Care & Occupational Medicine, Callan worked at a walk-in clinic. She is excited to work in an urgent care setting because it will allow her to broaden her knowledge. She loves that no day is the same in urgent care and that she is constantly learning!
Callan exercises four to five days a week and she loves HIIT classes. She is looking forward to enjoying the mountains! She has a 10-month-old son and no pets.
Kaytee Ruliffson, PA-C
Physician Assistant – eClinic Virtual Provider
Kaytee Ruliffson went to Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She has experience in emergency and urgent care including pediatric emergency/urgent care. She believes that people need urgent care as an option when they cannot get to a primary care provider. She really enjoys the variety of patients and helping people in their time of need.
Kaytee lives on Maui with her husband and two animals -Dutch the charcoal lab and Dude, a big fat kitty. She loves the outdoors, hiking, biking, snorkeling, the sun, fishing, and boating. She has family scattered throughout the country – they are her favorite people!
Sarah Owens, FNP-C
Family Nurse Practitioner
Sarah Owens started her career in healthcare 23 year ago as a nursing assistant at a nursing home. She is passionate about people and enjoys being able to make a difference in the lives of her patients and their families. She is drawn to the urgent care setting because she enjoys providing care to patients when they need it most. She takes pride in caring for her patients while creating a trusting and meaningful relationship.
Sarah earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from National University in San Diego, Cali., and her Master of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner from Walden University. With a specialty in family practice, Sarah is versed in pediatric care, women’s health, and geriatric care. She also has experience in psychiatric/mental health with a concentration in depression and PTSD. Sarah received critical care, emergency, flight, and trauma training in the U.S. Navy.
Sarah is married, the mom to three boys – two are identical twins! – and she has two rescue dogs named Rocco and Hank. Sarah is a Colorado native and she and her family enjoy hiking and exploring. They hiked 42 different trails last summer! Sarah enjoys gardening, reading, and volunteering. Sarah volunteers with the local women’s shelter as well as with the local Autism and special needs programs. Sarah is also learning how to bake bread and she would like to learn how to stand-up paddle board.
